(a) No person shall cause, allow or permit any vehicle registered in the name of or operated by, such person, to be parked overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time established for any meter zone as herein provided.
(b) No person shall permit a vehicle to remain or be parked in any parking space adjacent to any parking meter beyond the period of legal parking time established or indicated for parking a vehicle in such parking space.
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
