351.10 BUS STOPS AND TAXICAB STANDS.
   (a)   Terminal Parking Places for Busses. The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to designate terminal parking places for bus lines, and no bus shall park at any other place than the terminal parking place so designated for the bus route on which it is operated.
   (b)   Bus Stops Designated. The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to designate berths or spaces in which busses may stop for loading and unloading passengers and to mark such berths or spaces to designate they are for use of busses only.
   (c)   Operation of Busses. All busses shall be driven and operated as close to the right curb of the street or highway as traffic conditions will permit. When stopping to load or discharge passengers, the driver or operator of any bus shall stop for such purpose as close to the right curb of the street or highway as traffic conditions will permit. No bus shall be driven in the center of the street or highway except in passing other vehicles.
   (d)   Unauthorized Parking Prohibited.
      (1)    The operator of any vehicle other than a bus shall not stand or park such vehicle in an officially designated bus stop, or the operator of any vehicle other than a taxicab shall not stand or park such vehicle in an officially designated taxicab stand.
      (2)    The operator of any bus or taxicab shall not park such vehicle upon any street or in any portion of the City where the structures are of not detached type, or at any place other than a bus stop or taxicab stand respectively.
   (e)    Penalty. Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
