521.13 POLLUTION OF WATER SUPPLY.

   (a)   No person, either in the City or within twenty miles of the City, shall pollute the water in the water works reservoirs of the City, or any stream running into the reservoirs, by putting therein any putrid or offensive substance injurious to health or cause or permit any such putrid or offensive substance injurious to health to be so exposed that any part of it may or might be carried into the reservoirs or streams running therein by the wash or drainage of waters running into the reservoirs or streams, or in any way pollute the water in such reservoirs or streams.

   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
