509.10 PARKING OF LARGE TRUCKS.
   (a)   Definitions.
      (1)   “Truck” means every motor vehicle, except trailers and semi-trailers designed and used to carry semi-trailers.
      (2)   “Semi-trailer” means any vehicle of the trailer type that does not have motive power and is so designed or used with another and separate motor vehicle that in operation a part of its own weight or that of its load or both, rests upon and is carried by the other vehicle furnishing the motive power for propelling itself and the vehicle referred to in this subsection and includes for the purpose only the registration and taxation under those chapters, any vehicle of the dolly type, and such a tractor dolly that is designed or used for the conversion of a semi-trailer into a trailer.
 
   (b)   No person shall park a truck upon private property, within the City, between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m., with the engine in operation, or the refrigeration unit in operation.
 
   (c)   This section shall not apply to any truck parked in any industrial zoned district within the City.
 
   (d)   This section shall apply only to trucks who are not parked for delivery purposes for less than 15 minutes.
 
   (e)   Whosoever violates this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor punishable by up to a one hundred dollar ($100.00) fine. (Ord. 95-160. Passed 11-14-95.)
