351.05 MANNER OF PARKING.
   (a)   Marked Lines. Lines or markings shall be painted or placed upon the street and in City lots to designate the parking space to be used. Each vehicle parked in such space shall be parked within the lines or markings so established. No person shall park any vehicle across any such line or marking or park such vehicle in such position that the same shall not be entirely within the area so designated.
   (b)   Angle and Perpendicular Parking. Upon streets and City lots where public parking is permitted, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle other than at the angle or perpendicular to the curb or edge of the roadway as is indicated by appropriate signs or markings. When a parking space is diagonal or perpendicular to the curb or sidewalk, any vehicle parked in such space shall be parked with the foremost part of such vehicle nearest to such curb or sidewalk.
   (c)   Parallel Parking. When a parking space is parallel with the adjacent curb or sidewalk, any vehicle parked in such space shall be parked so that right front and rear tires are no more than 12 inches from the curb or sidewalk.
