339.12 HEAVY LOADS ON NORTH PLEASANT STREET.

(a) No trailer, semitrailer, truck, tractor or other vehicle, whether propelled by muscular or motor power, weighing in excess of three tons, including the weight of vehicle, shall be operated over or upon North Pleasant Street from Main Street to Jefferson Street. This section shall not apply to fire engines, fire trucks or other like vehicles belonging to any municipal department, or used by such department.

(b) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
