165.02 BONDS.
   (a)   Approval. The official bonds of all officers shall be prepared and/or approved by the Law Director. All official bonds shall be subject to the approval of Council.
 
   (b)   Where Recorded and Kept. Pursuant to Section 10.02 of the City Charter, each bond shall be filed with the Clerk of Council, who shall report thereon to Council.

   (c)   Premiums. The premium of any surety company on the bond of any public officer, deputy or employee shall be allowed and paid by the City from the appropriate fund.
