165.01 QUALIFICATIONS AND OATH OF OFFICE.

(a) Except as otherwise provided by law, each elected official of the City or a person appointed as a substitute for such elected official, shall be an elector of the City.

(b) Before entering upon any official duties, any officer of the City or of any department or board thereof shall take an oath to support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Ohio, and an oath that he will faithfully, honestly and impartially discharge the duties of his office.
