159.04 ESTABLISHMENT AND EXTENSION OF PARKS.

   The Board of Park Commissioners may establish or extend parks, parkways, boulevards and connecting viaducts and subways, public comfort stations and children's playgrounds and public baths located in such parks within the City or the territory contiguous thereto, and may acquire or appropriate, in the manner provided by Ohio R.C. 163.01 to 163.22, inclusive, the necessary real estate for such purpose, and in the same manner, may appropriate for parkway or boulevard purposes, any street, avenue or public way of the City.
