157.04 TERMS; VACANCIES.

   (a)    Length of Term and Appointing Authority.

      The terms of the Board of Architectural Review members shall be as follows:

      (1)   Two persons shall be appointed for one year.

      (2)   Two persons shall be appointed for two years.

      (3)   Three persons shall be appointed for three years.

      Thereafter, all appointments shall be made for a full four year term.

   (b)    Vacancies. Members of the Board of Architectural Review shall vacate his/her office:

      (1)   Be ceasing to be a resident of the City; or

      (2)   By death; or

      (3)   By written resignation filed with the Secretary of the Board; or

      (4)   By absence, without excuse acceptable to four (4) of the other members of the Board, from three (3) regular meetings of the Board within one (1) calendar year.

   (c)   Filling of Vacancies. Any vacancy shall be filled for the remainder of the unexpired term in the manner the original appointment was made.
