147.09 QUALIFICATIONS OF VOLUNTEER FIREMEN.

   Each applicant for appointment as a volunteer fireman shall conform to the following rules and requirements:

   (a)   Shall be a citizen of the United States and shall live within a radius of eight miles of the intersection of Main Street and Whittlesey/Benedict Avenue, but need not be electors of the City.

   (b)   Shall have had a high school education or its equivalent.

   (c)   Shall be between the ages of eighteen and forty.

      (Ord. 75-16. Passed 4-15-75.)

   (d)   Shall successfully pass an examination to be given by the Chief of the Fire Department.

   (e)   Shall not have been convicted of any felony in any state or Federal Court.

   (f)   Shall pass a physical examination to be given by a physician named by the Board of Control.
