147.07 ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOLS OF INSTRUCTION.

The Chief, officers and firemen of the Fire Department are hereby authorized to attend schools of instruction, subject to the approval of the Director of Finance. The dues and expenses of such membership and attendance may be paid from the General Fund in such amount as shall be approved by the Director.
