147.06 FIRE PROTECTION OUTSIDE CITY.
   (a)   The Mayor may enter into an agreement with a political subdivision other than the City of Norwalk to provide fire protection to the other political subdivision.
   (b)   The following terms and conditions of any agreement mentioned in subsection (a) hereof shall be included within any agreement:
      (1)   Fee.
         A.   A fee to be determined as reasonable and as set by a legislative enactment of the City of Norwalk and the involved political subdivision.
         B.   The fee shall commence to be charged upon any equipment leaving the fire station in the City of Norwalk.
      (2)   The amount of trucks, drivers and firemen furnished to another political subdivision shall be determined by the fire officer in charge.
      (3)   All towing charges for equipment at the scene of an emergency shall be paid by the respective political subdivision and not by the City of Norwalk.
   (c)   The Norwalk Fire Department may provide fire protection and emergency services to any governmental entity in Ohio or another jurisdiction without a contract, upon the approval of the legislative authority consistent with Ohio R.C. 9.60(D)(1).
