145.08 ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOLS OF INSTRUCTION.

The Chief, officers and members of the Police Department are hereby authorized to attend schools of instruction, subject to the approval of the Director of Finance. The dues and expenses of each membership and attendance may be paid from the General Fund is such amount as shall be approved by the Director.
