121.02 CLERK OF COUNCIL.
   (a)   Duties. The Clerk of Council shall attend all meetings, regular and special, record all proceedings in the minutes, prepare an agenda for every meeting, attend to all correspondence incidental to his office, attend to the codification of ordinances, perform such other duties as may be assigned by a majority vote of Council and perform all the duties required by the laws of the State or the ordinances of the City. The Clerk of Council shall also be the Clerk of the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Clerk of the Business Development Committee, the Clerk of the Charter Review Commission, and the Clerk of the Planning Commission and shall perform such duties as may be assigned by such boards and commissions.
   (b)   Compensation. Council shall appoint the Clerk of Council and determine the classification for compensation payable in bi-weekly installments.
   (c)   Certification of Amendment. The Clerk shall maintain one constantly revised copy of the Codified Ordinances and shall certify copies of each amendment or supplement thereto, to the officer or head of the department affected thereby.
   (d)   Day to day supervision of the Clerk of Council shall be vested in the Safety/Service Director. In the absence of the Safety/Service Director, day to day supervision of the Clerk of Council shall be vested in Law Director.
