SECTION 11.07. EFFECTIVE DATE OF CHARTER.

This Charter shall be effective immediately upon its adoption for the purpose of nomination and election of the first officers to be elected under this Charter. The first primary election, for the purpose of selecting candidates for office under this Charter, shall be held on the first Tuesday after the second Monday in September, 1972.

The remaining provisions of this Charter shall become effective at 7:30 a.m. on the first day of December, 1972.
