523.07 DESIGNATION OF SAFETY/SERVICE DIRECTOR OR CHIEF OF POLICE; CONTRACTS.

(a) For the purposes of this Chapter, the Safety/Service Director and the Chief of Police includes any subordinate employee, inspector, law enforcement officer or traffic aide employed by the City and designated by the Safety/Service Director or the Chief of Police to carry out the provisions of this Chapter.

(b) The City is authorized to enter into such contracts and agreements with towing service providers, motor vehicle salvage dealers, or scrap metal processing facilities as may be necessary to carry out this Chapter. (Ord. 2017-031. Passed 10-3-17.)
