189.05 ADDITIONAL 4504.171 LEVY.

(a) Pursuant to the authority of Ohio R.C. 4504.171 there is hereby levied an annual license tax upon the operation of motor vehicles on the public roads and highways of the City.

(b) The tax levied pursuant to this section shall be at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per motor vehicle on all motor vehicles the district of registration which, as defined in Ohio R.C. 4503.10 is in the City of Norwalk, Ohio.

(c) The tax levied pursuant to this section shall be in addition to the taxes levied pursuant to Ohio R.C. 4504.06, 4504.17 and 4504.172.

(d) The tax levied pursuant to this section shall be for the purposes listed in Ohio R.C. 4504.171.
