943.19 ARBORIST’S LICENSE AND BOND.

   (a)   No person or firm shall engage in the business or occupation of pruning, treating, or removing public trees within the City without first applying for and procuring a license from the Office of the Safety/Service Director.

   (b)   The license fee shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) annually in advance.

   (c)   No license shall be required of any public utility service company, its agents, or any City employee doing such work in the pursuit of their public endeavors.

   (d)   Each applicant shall first file evidence of possession of liability insurance in the minimum amounts for bodily injury and property damage, in amounts set annually by the Tree Board, indemnifying the City or any person injured or damage resulting from the pursuit of such endeavors as herein described.
