1510.04 CHIMNEYSTACK REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW AND EXISTING EXTERIOR FURNACES.

(a) The chimney stack on any exterior furnace shall extend a distance of 20 feet from the ground or 2 feet above the highest peak of any structure located on the property of the external furnace and 2 feet above the peak of any residence not served by the exterior furnace within 150 feet of the furnace, which ever is higher.

(b) The chimney stack on any exterior furnace shall be constructed of material recommended by the furnace's manufacturer.

(c) Any exterior furnace already installed as of the effective date of this Chapter shall comply with the provisions of this Section within 30 days of receipt of written notice from the Public Works Director.
