1501.01 CODE ADOPTED; IDENTITY AND PURPOSE.

   (a)   Pursuant to the provisions of Charter Section 4.09, the 2005, Ohio Fire Code, and as amended in future, is hereby adopted by the City and incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.

   (b)   As used in the Code, the following words have the meaning ascribed to them herein:

      (1)   "Appointing authority" means the Mayor of the City.

      (2)   "Fire Official" means any member, full or part-time of the Norwalk Fire Department.

      (3)   "Misdemeanor" means a minor misdemeanor.
