1325.03 PERMIT APPROVAL; POLICE ESCORT AND CONDITIONS.
   (a)   Before any permit for moving any structure or building is issued, it shall be approved by the Director of Public Service and Safety and the Building and Zoning Inspector. The Director shall not issue a house moving permit unless it is first determined that the proposed location of the building or structure, if within the City, conforms to the Zoning Ordinance, the Building Code relative to the fire limits and other applicable provisions of any other City ordinance.

   (b)   Whenever it is deemed necessary in the public interest, the Director may require that any moving operations be conducted under the supervision of such number of policemen as may be reasonably required to safeguard life and property during the course of the moving operation. The Director may prescribe such reasonable conditions, requirements, routes and precautions, the days and hours during which such moving operation shall be conducted and such other measures as may be necessary in the public interest. All moving operations shall be in conformity therewith.
