1317.04 INSTALLATION HEIGHT AND SUPPORT.

Awnings and marquees erected in the City shall be erected above the public streets or sidewalks at least eight feet and shall not project over any such sidewalk more than three-fourths of the width thereof. They shall be supported exclusively from the building to which they are attached by iron fixtures. Any installation contrary to the provisions herein, if not made to conform thereto after notice served upon the person maintaining the same by the Director of Public Service and Safety shall be removed upon the order of Council.
