1317.01 PERMIT REQUIRED.

No occupant or owner of any building, structure or property within the City shall hang, erect, install or maintain any awning, marquee or other structure projecting into the highway, street or alley, or over any sidewalk, until a permit for its installation and the approval of the construction of the same shall have been secured from the City.
