1303.04 LOCATION OF THE EARTH STATION.
(a) Ground Mounted.
(1) No earth station shall be constructed in any front or side yard, but shall be constructed in the rear yard of the property.
(2) No earth station, including its concrete base slab or other structure, shall be constructed less than three feet from any property line or easement.
(3) No earth station shall exceed a height of fifteen feet above grade.
(4) Wiring between an earth station and a receiver shall be placed at least four inches beneath the surface of the ground within a protective covering.
(5) Any driving motor shall be limited in power design to conform with earth station industry-approved actuators.
(6) An earth station shall be bonded to a grounding rod.
(b) Roof Mounted.
(1) Earth stations shall be mounted directly upon the roof of a primary or accessory structure, as defined by the Building Code, and shall not be mounted upon appurtenances such as chimneys, towers, trees, poles or spires.
(2) The distance between the roof and the lower edge of a roof-mounted earth station shall not exceed three feet.
(3) Any driving motor shall be limited in power design so as to conform with earth station-industry-approved actuators and shall be U.L. listed.
(4) A roof-mounted earth station must be bonded to a grounding rod.
