1143.01 PROCEDURE FOR AMENDMENTS OR DISTRICT CHANGES.

This Ordinance may be amended utilizing the procedures specified in this Chapter, inclusive of this Ordinance. Applications or petitions for change of district boundaries or classifications or property as shown on the Zoning Map shall be referred by Council to the Planning Commission after first reading. The Planning Commission shall be allowed six (6) weeks for consideration and report to Council. Each such application shall be verified by at least one (1) of the owners of property within the area proposed to be reclassified, attesting to the truth and correctness of all facts and information presented with the applications. Applications for amendments initiated by the Planning Commission itself shall be accompanied by its own motion pertaining to such proposed amendment.
