923.01 MANAGEMENT BY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR.

   The Public Works Director shall manage, conduct and control the water works; furnish supplies of water; assess and collect water rents of sufficient amount and in such manner as he deems most equitable; make such bylaws, rules and regulations as he deems necessary for the safe, economical and efficient management and protection of the water works, and perform all other duties with reference thereto as may be prescribed by ordinance or the general laws of the State.
