(A) The city’s suggestion system is established to encourage all employees to submit suggestions that could allow the government to operate more efficiently and effectively.
(B) Written suggestions should be submitted to the department director, who shall recommend approval or disapproval upon submission to the Mayor. The Mayor and City Council are responsible for evaluating all suggestions. Awards ranging from recognition to actual monetary remuneration may be made upon adoption of the suggestion at the discretion of the City Council.
