The term of the franchise and rights created hereby shall be for a period of 20 years, commencing on the latter of the date that franchisee’s bid to purchase this franchise is accepted by the city or the expiration of the natural gas franchise held by Western Kentucky Gas Company immediately preceding this franchise.
