§ 51.072 SEWER RATES AND CHARGES.
   (A)   Sewer connection charges. A sewer connection charge shall be paid for each sewer tap made to the municipal sewer system in the amount of $750 if the connection is inside the city limits and $900 if the connection is outside the city limits. In the event the connection cost exceeds the connection fee (tap-on fee), the amount charged will be the actual cost of making the connection (parts, labor, and the like) or an amount which the City Council deems appropriate.
   (B)   Monthly retail sewer rates and charges. The following schedule of rates shall apply to each user of the wastewater treatment system: minimum monthly bill for sewer service shall be a flat rate of $45 per 2,000 gallons of water treated based upon quantity of water used. An additional $5 per 1,000 gallons of water treated based upon quantity of water treated will be assessed after the initial 2,000 gallons.
   (C)   Monthly wholesale customer’s sewer treatment rates and charges. Wholesale wastewater treatment customers shall pay for wastewater treatment services pursuant to the terms and conditions of any wholesale wastewater treatment contract as may entered into from time to time by and between the city and the respective wholesale customer.
