For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The City of Nortonville, Kentucky, acting by and through its City Council or such other body as shall be the governing body of that city under the state law at any given time.
CUSTOMER. A property owner or his or her agent who has agreed to purchase water or sewer service from the city.
SUPERINTENDENT. The manager, superintendent, or other person duly employed and authorized by the city to supervise the operation of the water and sewer system.
SYSTEM. The combined and consolidated water and sewer system of the city, as now or hereafter constituted.
