(A) Violations of § 50.41 are subject to fines and penalties not to exceed $1,000, nor to be less than $500. In the event that a hauler has been caught discharging to a facility that directly or indirectly discharges to the city’s sanitary sewer, the facility may also be subject to the same fine and penalty schedule. This applies to this facility regardless whether they are informed of the event or not. In addition to the fines, all costs due to any damages to the system shall be reimbursed.

(B) (1) Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in § 50.63 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $500 for each violation. Each day in which a violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
(2) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the city for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned the city by reason of the violation.
