Whenever this Fire Prevention Code provides enforcement procedures, including inspections, notices, citations, hearings, designation of hearing officers, times of hearings and appeal periods, and civil and criminal penalties, such enforcement procedures and civil and criminal penalties shall be available to the Bureau of Fire Prevention as an alternative to the enforcement procedures provided in the Ohio Fire Code and not as an exclusive substitution for procedures set forth in the Ohio Fire Code.
