1484.12 INSPECTION; UNSAFE DEVICES; REPAIRS OR CHANGES.
   (a)   Nothing in this Building and Housing Code shall preclude the inspecting of any amusement device by the Superintendent of Building and Zoning Inspection at any reasonable time.
   (b)   Whenever the Superintendent finds that any amusement device is unsafe for public use, he or she shall revoke any approval previously given for the use of such device. Such device shall not thereafter be offered for use or be used by the public until repairs or changes have been made and until further use of such device has been approved by the Superintendent.
   (c)   When an amusement device becomes unstable or is otherwise dangerous to life and limb, by reason of its condition and existence, such repairs or changes as are found necessary and ordered by the Superintendent shall be made without delay by the owner or person in control of such device.
