1456.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   “Private swimming pool or wading pool” means a pool that is maintained by an individual for the sole use of his or her household and guests without charge and not for the purpose of profit, that is not maintained in connection with any business operated for profit and that is located as an accessory use on the same lot as his or her residence.
   (b)   “Swimming pool” means an artificial body or water or a receptacle for water, either permanent or portable, filled or capable of being filled with water to a depth of twenty-four inches or more, or with a surface area of 200 square feet at any point therein, and used or intended to be used for swimming or recreational bathing.
   (c)   “Wading pool” means an artificial body of water or a receptacle for water, either permanent or portable, filled or capable of being filled with water at any point therein to a depth of twelve inches, but not more than twenty-four inches, or with a surface area exceeding 100 square feet, and used or intended to be used for wading or other aquatic recreation.
