(a) The face of a wall bulletin shall not exceed forty square feet in area unless it is constructed of noncombustible materials or of metal clad wood, except that the moldings and cappings may be of combustible materials.
(b) When the area of the face of a wall bulletin exceeds 300 square feet, such wall bulletin shall be erected in unattached, independently supported sections of not more than 300 square feet each in area.
(c) A wall bulletin erected against a masonry wall shall be securely attached thereto by means of adequate metal anchors, bolts or expansion bolts. A wall bulletin shall not be attached to a masonry wall with nails, staples or screws in wooden blocks, wooden pegs or wooden nailing strips built into or driven into the masonry.
