1454.20 SUPPORTS FOR POLE SIGNS.
   (a)   Wood posts shall not be used for the support of pole signs.
   (b)   The supporting member for pole signs shall be of sufficient strength and rigidity and shall be imbedded in the ground or in concrete sufficiently to withstand all dead, wind and other loads specified in this Building and Housing Code as coming upon the same, without exceeding the unit stresses set forth in this Building and Housing Code for the materials affected.
   (c)   Cross arms, clamps and connections for pole signs shall be of sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the loads required in subsection (b) hereof.
