1454.15 HEIGHT ABOVE GRADE OF PROJECTING SIGNS.
   (a)   Projecting signs which project over the portion of a street, sidewalk, alley or other public thoroughfare used by pedestrians only, or which project beyond the building line established by the Zoning Code, shall be erected or hung so that all parts of such signs and their supports are at least ten feet above the grade of such street, sidewalk, alley or public thoroughfare.
   (b)   Projecting signs which project over a street, alley or public thoroughfare, for which there is no sidewalk or curb line, but on which there is vehicular traffic, shall be erected or hung so that all parts of such signs and their supports are not less than fourteen feet above the grade of such street, alley or public thoroughfare.
