1452.15 REMOVAL OF WIRES DUE TO MOVING BUILDINGS.
When the moving of any building requires displacement of any overhead wires, it shall be the duty of the owners of such wires, when public transportation or public welfare is not unduly and adversely affected, to remove or displace the same, so far as may be necessary to permit the removal of the building to its new location. The person to whom a moving permit has been issued shall notify the owners of the wires to remove or displace the same to facilitate the removal of the building, and, at the same time, shall show his or her permit and pay the owners of the wires a sum equal to the cost of such removal and replacing of wires and any temporary service lines necessary. It shall be the duty of the owners of the wires, within twenty-four hours after notification, to remove or displace the wires sufficiently to allow the building to pass along the street or alley over which the wires are suspended.
