(a) Hoisting machinery shall be placed to avoid unnecessary hazards and to provide ample room for the free and safe movement for operation.
(b) Such machinery shall be enclosed to exclude unauthorized persons. If placed outside the building, further protection against falling objects shall be provided when necessary.
