1436.05 STANDPIPE CONNECTION THREADS AND CAPS.

(a) The thread of all standpipe connections shall be uniform with that used by the Division of Fire. Substantial caps to protect the threads shall be provided on each connection.

(b) Standpipes shall be equipped in every story with two and one-half inch hose connections for use by the Fire Division.
