1432.14 NOTICE TO EXAMINING BOARD OF FAILURE TO CORRECT; DISCONNECTION OF SERVICE.
   (a)   Any unapproved or defective electrical wiring or equipment, ordered repaired or replaced by the inspector, shall be corrected within ten days or any other period specified from the date of written notice. When violations are not corrected within the ten days or the specified time limit, the Chief Inspector shall notify the Board of Electrical Examiners immediately and request permission for suspension or revocation of the holder’s license.
   (b)   The Division of Building and Zoning Inspection is authorized to order electrical service discontinued from unapproved or defective wiring which has not been corrected after written notice has not been complied with. The Division is authorized to disconnect, without notice, any electric wiring or equipment deemed to be a hazard to persons or property.
   (c)   The Division of Building and Zoning Inspection, its inspectors or the local electric power company shall not be held liable for any damage or loss that might be caused by any discontinuation or disconnection of electrical service as provided for in this Building and Housing Code, having been ordered to protect persons and property.
