All electric wiring installed in the City shall be in strict conformity with this chapter, the Ohio Statutes and the Ohio Building Code, with approved standards for safety to life and property as further defined in this Building and Housing Code. Anything that is not covered in this Building and Housing Code shall be in strict conformity with the National Electrical Code, as adopted by Council. Conformity with this Building and Housing Code shall be prima-facie evidence of compliance with approved standards.
