An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned six months after the date of filing, unless a permit has been issued before then. After an application has been abandoned, the Superintendent of Building and Zoning Inspection may destroy and dispose of all records, plans and specifications submitted in connection with the application.
