1426.05 SUBMISSION OF SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS; REFERENCE TO CODE COMPLIANCE.
   (a)   Two copies of specifications and of plans and elevations, drawn to scale, with sufficient clarity and detail to show the use of parts of the building or structure and compliance with this Building and Housing Code and other pertinent laws and ordinances, shall accompany every application, except that the Superintendent of Building and Zoning Inspection may, at his or her discretion, modify or waive this requirement when it is evident that the work can, because of its character or triviality, be sufficiently described in an application.
   (b)   When this Building and Housing Code or any other ordinance or law is referred to on a plan or in a specification, a general expression to the effect that the work shall be done or that the plans or specifications shall be carried out to the satisfaction or approval of the Superintendent, or in accordance with this Building and Housing Code or other ordinances or laws, shall not be used. Reference may be made on a plan or in a specification to a section or subsection of this Building and Housing Code or other ordinances or laws, by the number of the section or subsection, but if such section or subsection contains more than one subject or part therein, such section or subsection referred to shall be quoted in full.
