1254.06 FEE FOR APPEAL TO BOARD.
   (a)   Each application and/or appeal filed with the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals shall be accompanied by a fee of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to cover costs involved with the appeal hearing, to include, but not be limited to, costs of publishing legal notices and mailing notices to property owners and the cost of a legal stenographer, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) for each variance and each special exception included as part of the application to cover costs involved with the variance or special exception procedure. In the event the cost of the appeal, variance and/or special exception exceeds the established fee paid in advance, the applicant will be billed for the additional costs.

   (b)   No permits shall be issued regarding the subject property until all costs of the appeal have been paid.
   (c)   The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to certify to the County Auditor any and all outstanding fees for collection on the tax duplicate, if not paid within thirty days of the public hearing on the appeal and after a billing to the applicant of the outstanding fees.
