Pedestrian crosswalks may be required in locations deemed necessary by the Planning Commission in order to provide access to schools, recreation areas, shopping facilities, transportation facilities, churches and other community facilities. Such walkways shall be ten feet wide and shall provide a visual connection from sidewalk to sidewalk.
