The Municipal Engineer, or a person designated by him or her, shall perform the following inspections on any sidewalk, curb or gutter constructed, rebuilt or repaired.
(a) After Installation of Forms. Within 24 hours following the receipt of a written notice deposited at the City Hall requesting that forms be inspected, the Municipal Engineer, or a person designated by him or her, shall inspect the installation of the forms, and the approval or disapproval thereof, the date and the inspecting person's name shall be placed on the original permit. No concrete shall be poured until approval has been given.
(b) After Concrete Has Been Poured. Within 24 hours following the receipt of a written notice deposited at the City Hall requesting that a finished job be inspected, the Municipal Engineer, or a person designated by him or her, shall inspect the finished job, and the approval or disapproval thereof, the date and the inspecting person's name shall be placed on the original permit.
