Permanent resurfacing of street cut excavations shall be made by the permittee. During cold weather months, the permittee may elect to make temporary restoration with approval of the Director of Public Service. Temporary restoration shall not exceed 120 days, unless an extension of time is granted by the Director of Public Service. The permittee shall be responsible for maintaining all temporary restoration and permanent restoration for the period from the activation to one year after permanent restoration is made. All restoration shall conform to specifications that shall be filed in the office of the Director of Public Service and shall be inspected and approved by the Director of Public Service or his designee.
