Each applicant for a taxicab operator's license shall present and file with the Director of Public Safety his or her signed application setting forth the trade names under which he or she intends to do business, the number of vehicles and a general description of each vehicle for which the license is desired, the marking or lettering to be used thereon and any other information required by the Director of Public Safety pertinent to the issuance of such license.
